Reasoning

CaTE was launched in 2023 by SEI/CMU and OUSD(R&E). It is the first such hub led by a nongovernmental organization. The center conducts research on human-machine teaming, calibrated trust, and measurable trust. It has published the CaTE Guidebook for TEVV of LAWS and delivered recommendations for test and evaluation platforms.
