R0042/2026-04-01/Q001/H1¶
Statement¶
A well-documented, ranked consensus list of enterprise motivations for private AI deployment exists across major consultancies (McKinsey, Gartner, Deloitte, KPMG, Forrester), with consistent prioritization.
Status¶
Current: Eliminated
Supporting Evidence¶
| Evidence | Summary |
|---|---|
| SRC01-E01 | Deloitte documents sovereign AI motivations, but not as a ranked priority list |
| SRC03-E01 | KPMG tracks investment and challenges, but does not rank private deployment motivations |
Contradicting Evidence¶
| Evidence | Summary |
|---|---|
| SRC02-E01 | Allganize produces a structured comparison, but it is a vendor guide, not a survey |
| SRC05-E01 | Menlo Ventures tracks buy-vs-build but does not rank private deployment reasons |
Reasoning¶
No single consultancy survey was found that asks "why did you choose private AI?" as its primary research question and produces a universally cited ranked list. Each firm approaches the topic from a different angle (sovereign AI, risk management, scaling challenges, infrastructure predictions). The motivations are documented, but not in a single canonical ranking.
Relationship to Other Hypotheses¶
H1 represents the strongest form of the query's assumption — that a clean, ranked consensus exists. The evidence eliminates this in favor of H2 (overlapping but non-identical documentation).
