Extract¶
Individual gains confirmed but 21%/98% figures are from Faros, not DORA; organizational paradox confirmed by both
Relevance to Hypotheses¶
| Hypothesis | Relationship | Strength |
|---|---|---|
| H1 | Contradicts | DORA 2025 reported these exact figures |
| H2 | Supports | General paradox confirmed but specific numbers from different source |
| H3 | Contradicts | No individual-vs-org paradox exists |
Context¶
Partially correct but requires attribution correction. The 21% more tasks and 98% more pull requests figures come from Faros AI telemetry research, not directly from the DORA 2025 report. The DORA 2025 report does confirm the general 'AI Productivity Paradox' — individual output gains that do not translate to organizational delivery improvements. DORA found a 7.2% reduction in delivery stability and initially negative throughput effects, though later findings showed throughput improving as teams adapted.
