Reasoning¶
H3 is the most important hypothesis to test because it would directly invalidate the novelty claim. Four independent search strategies failed to find any substantially similar combination. However, H3 cannot be definitively eliminated because: 1. Universal negatives are inherently unprovable. 2. Non-indexed or proprietary repositories were not searched. 3. Government or classified publications are inaccessible. 4. Non-English language publications were not searched. 5. Prompt repositories (GitHub, PromptBase) may not be well-indexed. 6. The AI/prompt engineering field evolves rapidly.
H3 is not supported but remains a theoretical possibility.
Relationship to Other Hypotheses¶
H3 is mutually exclusive with H1 if a full combination is found. If only a partial combination is found, H2 is supported instead of H3. The distinction between H2 and H3 is one of degree.
