R0002/2026-03-13/C003/H3¶
Statement¶
The characterization materially misrepresents the IPCC framework.
Status¶
Current: Eliminated
Supporting Evidence¶
| Evidence | Summary |
|---|---|
[No evidence found supporting this hypothesis.]
Contradicting Evidence¶
| Evidence | Summary |
|---|---|
| SRC01-E01 | Two-axis confidence model confirmed |
| SRC01-E02 | Evidence axis labels confirmed |
| SRC01-E03 | Agreement axis labels confirmed |
| SRC01-E04 | Five confidence levels confirmed |
| SRC01-E05 | Separate likelihood scale exists |
Reasoning¶
H3 was included to test whether the claim fundamentally misrepresents the IPCC framework. All structural elements are confirmed: the two-axis model exists, the axis labels are essentially correct (with terminology nuances), five confidence levels result, and a separate likelihood scale exists. The only issues are terminology precision and the debatable point count — these are imprecisions, not misrepresentations. H3 is eliminated with high confidence.
Relationship to Other Hypotheses¶
Independent of the H1/H2 distinction (which concerns the likelihood scale count). H3's elimination confirms the claim's fundamental accuracy.
